Clean172 is a technology that uses a 172 nm peak-wavelength excimer lamp to generate reactive oxygen species. The 172 nm light and these reactive species work together to enable powerful oxidative decomposition of the molecular bonds of odors and chemicals.

Clean ozone generated by light

By using an excimer lamp with a peak wavelength of 172 nm as the light source, ozone production equivalent to discharge ozone generation is possible without emission of nitrogen oxides (NOx).
